Our client is a market leader in Europe with a global footprint and is looking for a Tax Manager to join this established tax team in Hampshire.
Working within the Group Finance function and reporting to the Group Head of Tax & Treasury, you will provide support in key areas of focus for the Group Finance team including tax compliance and reporting, process improvements and assisting with the design and implementation of tax projects as part of the Tax and Treasury team.
Some of your key responsibilities are:
* Preparation of UK corporation tax returns and management of outsourced compliance as required, and working on the Group’s IFRS and UK FRS101 tax reporting;
* Assisting in the planning & implementation of a range of projects including transfer pricing design and documentation, R&D claims and other ad hoc projects;
* Work on the Group’s response to BEPS developments and reporting across Europe;
* Support in the preparation and update of governance and risk documents (such as Senior Accounting Officer and Corporate Criminal Offence), and involvement in the preparation and maintenance of the group’s tax strategy, policies and training;
* Assist in other tax areas including withholding tax, employment taxes and VAT;
* Keeping up to date with developments in the tax space so the business is aware of the impact of any new requirements, including through training and continuous review of the policies, processes and systems used for tax reporting across the region.
To be considered, you should be either CTA, ACA, or ACCA qualified and have UK corporate tax and tax accounting experience. Some experience in jurisdictions across EMEA will be beneficial as well. You should also be detail orientated, have excellent communication skills, and be a team player.

This role is offering £75,000-£85000 plus a 20% discretionary bonus, a £5,000 car allowance, and a host of benefits. The tax team follows a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the Hampshire office near Basingstoke.
