Senior Repairs Administrator

Location- Brentwood

Salary: Up to GBP40k

Fortus Recruitment provides specialist recruitment services, supplying quality candidates on a temporary or permanent basis to leading organisations throughout the industry.

We are currently working with a leading contractor who is looking for a Senior Repairs Administrator to join their responsive repairs team in Brentwood.

This is a permanent position focused on managing workflow, delivering excellent customer service, overseeing a team of up to 15 administrators/planners, and ensuring operational KPIs are consistently achieved within a fast‑paced repairs and maintenance environment.


Key Responsibilities

* Managing day‑to‑day workflow within the responsive repairs team
* Leading, supporting, and motivating a team of up to 15 staff members
* Monitoring and tracking KPIs to ensure service delivery targets are achieved
* Delivering a high standard of customer service and resolving escalated queries
* Managing repairs administration processes from job allocation through to completion
* Liaising with operatives, supervisors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth service delivery
* Ensuring works are scheduled efficiently and completed within agreed timescales
* Producing reports and analysing performance data to identify improvements
* Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
* Supporting senior management with operational and performance reporting
* Ensuring compliance with company procedures and service level agreements


Skills & Experience

* Previous experience within a Senior Administrator, Repairs Administrator, or Planning role
* Experience working within responsive repairs, social housing, or maintenance environments
* Proven experience managing or supervising teams
* Strong understanding of KPI management and service performance monitoring
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Ability to work effectively within a fast‑paced environment
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
* Confident using Microsoft Office and internal scheduling systems
* Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively
