We want to talk to you if you have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of change management principles and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across various departments and teams.
You would have the opportunity to work from home but with expectations to travel to Retford and London as required.
Responsibilities:
• Produce, or review, functional specifications for implementation of requirements;
• Ensure cross project team collaboration to identify and support financial requirements for change initiatives outside of the finance function;
• Deliver high quality project documentation according to existing standards;
• Manage stakeholders to achieve sign-off to plan;
• Take the lead in interviews with stakeholders, facilitating workshops and other requirements gathering meetings;
• Work with technical consultants across multiple system platforms to agree appropriate solution to support requirements;
• Provide the link between the development team and business representatives regarding functionality, throughout the development lifecycle;
• Capture data elements, organise and model data to support or improve recommendations;
• Analyse business objectives and align identified requirements to business objectives;
• Produce project briefs or terms of reference to identify scope and objectives of project work.es:
• Analyse current state processes: Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement within the finance function.
• Define and document future state processes: Work with stakeholders to design new processes that are efficient, effective, and aligned with business goals.
• Gather and document business requirements: Capture user needs and translate them into functional specifications for system implementations or process changes.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings: Lead discussions with stakeholders to gather input, build consensus, and drive decision-making.
Requirements:
• Demonstrable experience writing requirements specifications and User Stories and obtaining business agreement;
• Experience of working with multi-disciplined development teams, including external vendors and agencies providing services for projects;
• MS Office suite, including MS Project / Visio knowledge and skills;
• Knowledge and experience of a range of project delivery methodologies;
• Experience of gathering business requirements using a variety of techniques from representatives at different levels of the business;
• Previous experience of business analysis within a finance environment
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle Netsuit, OneStream
• Knowledge of financial modeling and data analysis tools.
