What the Job Involves The role primarily involves managing and fulfilling statutory duties relating to adult safeguarding, responding to reports made to the local authority. You will conduct and oversee multi-agency safeguarding enquiries, coordinate protection plans, and engage in decision-making processes to manage risks effectively. Key responsibilities include chairing multi-agency meetings, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to the development of safeguarding procedures. The position may require travel within the county, and you will be expected to work collaboratively with internal and external partners to support the best possible outcomes for adults at risk.
