Are you ready to be part of a high-performing payroll service that makes a real difference across multiple local authorities and education establishments? We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Payroll Assistant to join our forward-thinking HR / Payroll Shared Services team.
About The Role
As one of the Payroll Assistants, you'll be part of a skilled team responsible for processing complex payrolls. You'll ensure operational excellence, play a part in continual improvement, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers. You'll be at the heart of a customer-focused environment, where innovation and service quality are key.
What We're Looking For
* Experience and knowledge of payroll legislation, terms and conditions of pay and HMRC requirements
* Excellent communication and customer management skills
* Experience of delivering payroll services in a fast paced and high-volume working environment
* A proactive, solution-focused mindset with a passion for service improvement
* Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
