Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Business Development Manager to join one of our clients' teams. This pivotal role is responsible for driving growth and expanding our market presence by developing strategic partnerships and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and business development, with a proven track record of success in building relationships and closing deals.
Based on our client's growth strategy, they have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced full-time Senior Business Development Manager with a commercial and customer-centric focus, to join a progressive, successful, and highly people-oriented, growing organization.
Our client is looking for a proactive and results-driven BDM to drive B2B sales by targeting new customers, managing provided leads, and closing deals to grow our customer base.
Responsibilities
* Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services, or new ways of reaching existing markets.
* Take ownership of the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to closing the sale.
* Meet with customers face-to-face or on Teams.
* Understand customer needs and respond effectively with a plan to meet them.
* Lead and support bid-writing and contracts where appropriate.
* Have a good understanding of the company's products or services and advise others about them.
* Liaise with all departments, including operations and finance, to onboard customers.
* Attend seminars, conferences, and events to build your network and profile.
* Help plan sales campaigns.
* Create a sales pipeline.
* Negotiate pricing with customers and suppliers in some cases.
* Support the Sales and Marketing strategy.
* Develop a good understanding of competitors, industry trends, and industry commercials.

Salary & Package
* Uncapped commission (5% of revenue for 12 months), with an OTE of £25,000
* Holiday Entitlement: 25 days + bank holidays (2 days compulsory between Christmas & New Year)
