Cashier – Care UK
We are an award‑winning private care company with over 160 care homes across the United Kingdom, seeking an enthusiastic Cashier to join our Finance team.

The role
The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting in the provision of an efficient and accurate Cashiering function in a robust control environment whilst supporting colleagues to ensure operational processes and procedures are followed.
Key Responsibilities
* Transactional management of the receipts and expense bank accounts
* Liaise with care homes and customers for payments received and home banking information
* Responsible for maintaining the Direct Debit Ledger
* Management of the deposit suspense account
* Monitoring cashier mailboxes, printing remittances, cash, banking and reconciliation
* Maintaining the remittance log
* Producing refunds cheques to customer account on the finance system
What Were Looking For
* Experience in an administrative role, ideally within a finance team
* Ability to pick up and learn the company’s financial system
