Role: Early Years WorkerType: Temporary (4-6 weeks)Location: Newtownabbey, OnsitePay: £Hours: 20 Hours/ week, -, Mon-FriStart Date: ASAPESSENTIAL CRITERIAQualifications and experience
1. QCF 2/3 in Childcare or equivalent
2. A minimum of 12 months' experience in an Early Years setting, preferably with children aged 0-4
3. A valid driver's license and have access to a car
4. ACCESS NI- ADVANCED CHECK IS ESSENTIAL
Knowledge
5. Knowledge and understanding of how children learn and developTo be aware and responsive to the importance of play within children's livesTo have an awareness and understanding of issues that parents may experienceTo have an understanding and commitment to the implementation of an equal opportunities policyTo be aware of the need for confidentiality in all aspects of the postExperience of working independently and as part of a team in an Early Years settingTo be able to work independently and as part of a teamAwareness of health and safety requirementsTo be aware of and understand Child Protection guidelines
