Title: Digital Marketing Lead
Location: Cambridge Science Park / Hybrid min 2 office days per week

Role Description
We are looking for a results-driven Digital Marketing Lead to own the planning, execution and performance of our digital marketing activity.
This role sits at the center of our marketing function, translating strategy into measurable digital performance across campaigns, channels, and content. You will work closely with the Marketing Director to shape campaign priorities, and with our Scientific Writer to ensure technically credible content reaches the right audience and drives engagement.
The ideal candidate is both analytical and commercially minded, with a strong understanding of B2B marketing and the ability to turn content into pipeline.
This is a role for someone who wants to move beyond executing digital activity and instead take ownership of how marketing drives measurable business outcomes.
Campaign & Demand Generation
* Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns aligned to commercial priorities
* Own campaign delivery from concept → execution → optimization
* Drive lead generation, engagement and conversion
* Manage campaign timelines, budgets and performance
Digital Channels & Performance
* Own and optimize paid media (LinkedIn, Google, etc.), email marketing and nurture flows, social media campaigns
* Ensure consistent messaging and performance across channels
* Continuously optimize based on data and insight
Content Distribution & Amplification
* Work with the Scientific Writer to turn content into campaigns
* Ensure blogs, case studies, webinars and videos are actively promoted across channels
* Develop content distribution strategies to maximize reach and impact
Webinars & Events
· Own webinars as a demand generation channel; landing pages, promotion, follow-up and reporting
· Own the digital component of events, including pre-event promotion, meeting generation, post-event nurture
Analytics & Reporting
· Define and track key KPIs: traffic, leads, conversion rates, ROI
· Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights
· Report regularly to the Marketing Director and wider team
Agency & Vendor Management
· Manage relevant external agencies (e.g., paid advertising, events & CRM)
· Ensure delivery aligns with strategy and performance objectives
· Hold partners accountable for results
How You’ll Work
You will operate within a collaborative, highly specialized team:
* Marketing Director → sets strategy, messaging and priorities
* Scientific Writer → creates technically accurate, high-value content that is optimized for SEO/LLMs etc to be seen and found
* You (Digital Marketing Lead) → deploy content through a mix of channels to ensure that it drives results
Qualifications and Experience
Essential
* 3+ years’ experience in digital or performance marketing
* Experience managing end-to-end campaigns
* Strong experience across: paid media (especially LinkedIn in B2B context), managing organic social media channels, email marketing and marketing automation
* Demonstrated experience in communicating, managing and working collaboratively with key stakeholders
* Strong analytical skills (CRM platforms, dashboards)
Desirable
* Experience in B2B, life sciences, or technical markets
* Understanding of long, complex buyer journeys
* Experience collaborating closely with scientific or technical teams
* Experience managing video creation projects, from briefing and production coordination through to channel deployment and performance tracking
