Teaching Personnel is the largest education recruitment agency in the UK working with 6,500 schools nationwide. We are looking for experienced Supply Teachers/Cover Supervisors for our secondary schools in the Aylesbury/Buckinghamshire area.
Job Duties:
Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons to students in the absence of the regular teacher.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment.
Follow school policies and procedures while carrying out teaching duties.
Provide feedback to regular teachers on student progress and behaviour.
Adapt teaching methods to suit the needs of individual students.
Required Qualifications:
PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) or equivalent
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
MA (Masters) or BA (Bachelor's) in a relevant subject
Experience:
Prior experience working as a Supply Teacher or Cover Supervisor in a secondary school setting.
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong classroom management skills
Excellent subject knowledge in the relevant curriculum area
Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles
Patience and the ability to remain calm under pressure
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional training or certifications in behaviour management or special educational needs
Working Conditions:
This role involves working on a temporary basis, filling in for regular teachers as needed. Full-time hours are expected, and flexibility in terms of location may be required within the Aylesbury/Buckinghamshire area.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
