Looking to start a new job with satisfaction you’d struggle to find anywhere else? You’re in luck as our amazing Team Forrest Walk are looking for a new part‑time (24 hours per week) colleague! You don’t need experience as a Support Worker or qualifications to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferrable skills.
We’ll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you’ll need. We’ll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees too!
Our team and the individuals you’ll support: You’ll become part of a fun, friendly and dedicated team who provide residential, respite and day‑care support to individuals with various disabilities and additional support needs. We have four permanent residents within our home and also provide respite and day‑care support to many others. Every day is different.
With a focus on maintaining and promoting independence, you’ll work in a person‑centred way to support daily living – cooking, personal care, medication administration, financial management – and help with hobbies such as cooking, baking, dominoes, basketball, walks and local pub trips.
