Materials Solutions is looking to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer to join the team at MSL, Worcester, as part of the Engineering team. In this role, you will play an important part in defining methods for our manufacturing process at our additive manufacturing business.

* Create techniques, SOPs, work instructions, and processes to ensure quality standards are achieved.
* Collaborate with technical and operational personnel on new product development and processes.
* Uphold adherence to health and safety requirements.
* Contribute to solving manufacturing issues.
o Experience with problem-solving tools is beneficial.
* Support resolutions of daily production issues and continuous improvement initiatives.
Your responsibilities:
* Support completion of quotation packages with resource planning information.
* Understand customer requirements for new projects and ensure proper flow-down within MSL.
* Create part-specific manufacturing instructions and programs for processes such as CNC Milling, CNC Turning, wEDM, and Grinding.
* Assist in creating tooling and fixturing for various processes across the site, including CNC machining, de-powdering, airflow, and inspection.
* Train operational staff to ensure compliance with released programs and techniques.
* Coordinate subcontractor fixture creation when required.
* Support documentation for technical information flow and validation reports.
* Update part routing structures according to internal procedures.
* Assist with daily MRB resolutions and process improvements.
* Define manufacturing methods and support continuous improvement for operations like EDM, support removal, blasting, and part marking.
What You Bring:

* Proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems.
* Experience in high-volume manufacturing and flow-down requirements.
* Ability to discuss and explain complex technical problems within cross-functional teams and with customers.
* Interpretation of customer specifications and requirements.
* Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
* Resilience in challenging environments.
* Methodical, self-motivated, and committed to continuous improvement.
* Teamwork and individual work capability.
* Proven experience machining complex parts.
* CAM experience is essential; NX and CNC Grinding experience are preferred but not essential.
