*Job Overview* This is a brand new and exciting, but rare,opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our beautiful, natural, smaller sized nursery in a rural location. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, along with a passion for early childhood education and the outdoors. This role involves creating a safe and nurturing environment for children while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. The Nursery Manager will lead a small team of childcare professionals, fostering an atmosphere of collaboration and support. *Responsibilities* * Manage the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a high standard of care and education for all children. * Develop and implement educational programmes that promote children's learning and development in line with early years frameworks. * Supervise and support nursery staff, providing guidance and training as needed to enhance their professional development. * Maintain effective communication with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress and any relevant nursery activities. * Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding regulations to create a secure environment for children. * Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and adapt programmes to meet individual needs. * Manage administrative tasks including record keeping, budgeting, and resource allocation. *Experience* * Proven experience in a management role within a nursery or childcare setting is essential. * Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. * Experience working with children in an educational or childcare capacity is required. * A background in early childhood education is highly desirable. * Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with staff, parents, and children. * A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between locations if required as we are expanding We invite passionate individuals who meet these criteria to apply for this rewarding opportunity to lead our nursery team in providing exceptional care and education to young children.
