The Role:
The Conveyancing Paralegal will assist with a wide range of residential property transactions, ensuring a smooth process from instruction through to completion. Responsibilities will include:
1. Preparing and drafting legal documents including contracts, transfer deeds, and completion statements
2. Managing case files and supporting fee earners throughout the conveyancing process
3. Liaising with clients, solicitors, lenders, and the Land Registry
4. Submitting SDLT returns and handling post-completion requirements
5. Maintaining compliance with CQS and SRA regulations
The Candidate:
The successful Conveyancing Paralegal will demonstrate:
6. Previous experience within a conveyancing department (essential)
7. Strong organisational and time management skills
8. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting documents
9. Clear communication and client care skills
10. The ability to work independently as well as within a team
