Boutique Hotel Group owns three luxury hotels and wedding venues set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Hotel Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Inglewood Manor.
Reporting to the Hotel Manager, your main duties & responsibilities will be:
* To assist in the day to day work and oversee the preventive maintenance of all equipment.
* To keep the Head of Maintenance and Maintenance Supervisor informed of all the activities and incidence in the Department.
* To respond to maintenance requests from hotel guests and staff .
* To ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety as well as environmental regulations and procedures.
* To perform scheduled planned preventative maintenance to minimise unplanned downtime of equipment and rooms.
* To coordinate with outside contractors for repair and maintenance work.
* To respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
* To provide supervision and leadership to colleagues.
* To ensure that operational issues are promptly reported.
* To react in a controlled and effective manner to emergency maintenance on plant, equipment buildings and environment.
* To ensure that all standards are maintained on regular basis.
* Keeping the car park and drive ways in a clean and tidy condition
* Taking care of equipment and reporting faults to the Head of Maintenance
* Any other job or duties assigned by the management as and when required.
The ideal candidate should have:
* General handyman skills such as painting, decorating, tiling and plumbing.
* Able to work well unsupervised.
* Excellent attention to detail
* Be friendly and courteous.
* Good communication skills.
* Able to work on own initiative.
* Problem solving and decision making.
* Reliable and trustworthy.

Start date TBC. Please note that you must be eligible to live and work in the UK in order to be considered for this position.
This role includes weekends and bank holidays working.

Pay: Up to £28,000.00 per year
