We are currently recruiting for an experienced Children with Disabilities (CWD) Assistant Team Manager (ATM) to join a well-established team in Buckinghamshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and skilled practitioner looking to take on a leadership role within a supportive local authority.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Team Manager in overseeing the CWD team
Provide supervision and guidance to social workers and support staff
Manage complex caseloads, including safeguarding and court work
Ensure high-quality assessments, care planning, and service delivery
Contribute to service development and performance improvement
Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners
Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
Significant experience within Children with Disabilities services
Minimum 3 years permanent experience as a Social Worker in the UK
Previous supervisory or management experience (ATM level desirable)
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, legislation, and statutory guidance.
Competitive rate of £42 per hour (Umbrella)
Flexible hybrid working (office presence required 2 days weekly)
