Solution Architect – Contract £800/£900 a day (Inside IR35) - Brighton
Are you an experienced Solution Architect with deep expertise in the insurance sector ? Do you have a strong background in configuration, business rules, and are passionate about driving transformation through close collaboration with Business Architecture ?
We’re seeking a forward-thinking Solution Architect to join our growing team in Brighton. You will play a key role in rapidly delivering change, designing innovative, scalable solutions that support our digital and operational strategy.
Key Responsibilities of the Solution Architect
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in insurance, guiding architectural decisions with domain knowledge.
Lead the design of end-to-end solutions across business and technology landscapes.
Drive solution design around configuration and rules-based platforms, ensuring flexibility and scalability.
Partner closely with Business Architects to understand and translate business goals into practical solutions.
Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and technical governance.
Contribute to strategic planning and roadmaps, championing delivery speed and quality.
Key requirements of the Solution Architect
Proven experience as a Solution Architect in the insurance industry – ideally general, life or health.
Deep knowledge of configuration-driven solutions and rules engines .
Strong understanding of business processes in insurance, especially underwriting, claims, and policy administration.
Adept at working in agile environments, with a pragmatic approach to solution delivery.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence and guide non-technical teams.
Comfortable balancing short-term delivery with long-term architectural goals.
