Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of older people? We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Day Support Worker to join our dedicated team in a welcoming extra care facility.
About the Role:
As a Day Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in helping our residents maintain their independence in a supportive, community-focused environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out regular welfare checks
* Providing friendly companionship and emotional support
* Encouraging and facilitating independent living
* Organising and supporting social activities to promote engagement and wellbeing
* Working collaboratively with Housing, Property, and Community teams to ensure holistic support
What We’re Looking For:
* A kind and approachable personality
* A genuine interest in the wellbeing of elderly people
* Previous experience in a care or support setting (preferred but not essential)
