An established engineering organisation specialising in complex mechanical systems is seeking an experienced Electronics Hardware Engineer to join its design team. The company develops bespoke, high-performance engineered systems supplied to customers worldwide and operates across a full design-to-manufacture lifecycle.
Electronics Hardware Engineer
Key Responsibilities
* Develop new hardware architectures and support existing products for specialized industrial applications.
* Design high-quality, low-noise analogue circuits and digital systems utilizing FPGAs.
* Write and maintain embedded C and VHDL code to interface hardware with control software.
* Create, solder, and validate prototype hardware to ensure conformance with industry standards.
* Partner with software, sales, and production teams to translate customer requirements into functional engineered solutions.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven proficiency in Schematic Capture and PCB Layout
* Experience with VHDL and embedded DSPs
* Strong skills in C for embedded processors
* Hands-on experience with electronic assembly
* Significant experience supporting electronics and embedded processors within a control or automated environment.
