Coleg Cambria is searching for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a part-time Lecturer in Sport. As a Lecturer in Sport, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to learners enrolled in sport-related courses at levels 2 and 3, including school links.
2. Planning and implementing engaging lessons, lectures, and practical sessions aligned with the curriculum and catering to diverse learner needs.
3. Providing guidance, support, and constructive feedback to nurture student growth and progress.
4. Assessing and evaluating student performance through assignments, projects, and exams to help them achieve their goals.
5. Contributing to the design and development of curriculum materials and resources, ensuring they are current and industry-relevant.
6. Staying updated with industry trends to incorporate the latest knowledge into teaching practices.

The role requires:
* Qualification to at least Level 4 or equivalent in a relevant subject.
* Qualified teaching status, such as PGCE, Cert Ed, or C&G 7407.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Self-motivation, good organization, and the ability to work independently.
* Welsh language skills are essential, with encouragement for Welsh learners aiming for Level 3/4 within 18 months to 2 years. A Welsh language assessment will be part of the selection process.
