Our client is a successful secondary school delivering high-quality teaching and learning to students across Key Stages 3 - 5. Elementa is supporting the school to recruit a dedicated and caring Teacher of Computer Science. This role is open to both ECTs (induction supported) and FQTs. The school is open to candidates across MPS and UPS pay scales; however, to be considered for UPS, additional departmental and leadership duties may be required.
The school is a large secondary with a sixth form and over 1500 pupils. The sixth form has nearly 350 students, with a focus on independent learning and diverse pathways. The school emphasizes pastoral care and has invested in Student Support Services to aid students with mental health issues, collaborating with external agencies. Overall, it is a well-managed school with positive outcomes for students and a sought-after working environment for staff.
This role involves full teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, and assessment. Candidates with significant teaching experience in Computer Science or Computing are encouraged to apply, even if not specialized in the subject. A tutor group responsibility (year group) is likely.

This is a permanent role following a standard recruitment process, including observed teaching, panel interview, and school tour. The school may offer a trial contract (60 paid days) but will primarily aim for a permanent contract from the start.
The ideal candidate will hold UK QTS. If you have a teaching qualification and specialize as a Teacher of Computer Science, please apply.
