We are looking for a Senior Garment Tech to join our Technical team, supporting both menswear and womenswear categories, with a strong focus on product quality, fit, and sustainability.
The Role
Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will play a key role throughout the product lifecycle—from concept through to bulk production—ensuring the highest standards of quality, consistency, and fit across all product categories.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with design and product development teams from the earliest concept stages
* Develop and maintain technical specifications, ensuring consistency of fit and block standards
* Ensure brand standards for colour, embroidery, and construction across all suppliers
* Review bulk lab dips and provide clear, accurate colour feedback
* Advise on construction details for development packs and prototype samples
* Assess and fit samples throughout development, influencing decisions where needed
* Manage and maintain detailed tech packs with fit and construction comments
* Take ownership of products from SMS through to bulk production
* Approve graded size charts, fabrics, trims, and testing
* Conduct risk assessments on new fabrics and trims
* Review lab test reports and ensure compliance with legal fibre composition
* Liaise with suppliers and factories to resolve technical issues and meet deadlines
* Evaluate production samples and AQL reports to ensure quality standards
* Support responsible sourcing initiatives and certification compliance
About You
* Strong technical expertise in garment construction and manufacturing
* Extensive experience in fitting, grading, and garment development
* Solid knowledge of woven and knitted fabrics
* Experience interpreting lab testing and commercial results
* Understanding of responsible sourcing and sustainability standards
* Excellent communication skills across teams and suppliers
* Highly organised with the ability to work under pressure
* Proactive mindset with a passion for product quality
* experience of managing junior garment techs
Technical Skills:
* Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
* Adobe Illustrator (preferred)
* Experience with PLM and Interlink systems
