James Grace Local is currently recruiting for an experienced Press Brake Setter / Operator to join a manufacturing company based near Loughborough.
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining press brake machinery to fabricate and shape sheet metal components. This role requires a strong understanding of tooling, mechanical processes, and the ability to work with precision to meet production specifications.

Responsibilities
1. Operate press brake machinery to bend and shape sheet metal according to technical drawings and specifications.
2. Fabricate components using various hand tools and machinery, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
3. Conduct routine maintenance on press brake equipment to ensure optimal performance.
4. Assemble parts and components as required
5. Perform grinding and finishing tasks to achieve desired surface quality.
6. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
7. Maintain accurate records of production runs, including material usage and machine settings.
Qualifications
8. Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
9. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and schematics.
10. Proficiency in using hand tools and fabrication equipment.
11. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
12. Experience with tooling setup and adjustments for various press brake operations.
13. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
14. Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
