About the Role
As a Shared Lives Officer, you'll manage a caseload of Shared Lives carers and the people who draw on our support, ensuring personalised, safe and effective care within family homes. You will:
Support people who draw on our service by:
1. Getting to know people well, building strong, respectful relationships through home visits and regular check-ins
2. Creating great matches between people and carers
3. Planning support together, reviewing support plans and risk assessments to ensure support is genuinely person-centred
4. Navigating the practicalities, supporting benefits applications and making sense of essential paperwork
