Salaried General Practitioner – Emergency Assessment & Access Services

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is a leading NHS Trust providing integrated health and social care services across Manchester, Trafford, and beyond.
The Salaried General Practitioner will be a key member of the Emergency Assessment and Access Services within the Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC), providing primary medical care to patients who self‑refer or are referred from ED or NHS 111.
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering high‑quality primary medical services to patients streamed to the UTC.
* Working with a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to proactively manage and anticipate patients’ future health needs.
* Developing appropriate care plans with a strong emphasis on safe, effective, and patient‑centred care.
* Providing care in late weekday sessions (14:00–22:00) and early or late weekend sessions (08:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00).
