Nationwide is a Mutual organisation owned and run for its members — customers with mortgages, savings, or current accounts. Founded to help people save and buy homes, its social purpose guides its operations today, expressed as “Banking, but fairer, more rewarding and for the good of society.”
As Nationwide undergoes significant change, it aims to deliver value more effectively through digital enhancement and new working methods. Ensuring its Enterprise Architecture (EA) aligns with business and technology strategies is crucial.
Reporting to the Director of Technology Strategy and Enterprise Architecture, this role involves ensuring technology solutions support business, data, and strategic priorities.
The Senior Technology Architect will embed the EA vision, develop roadmaps for business, data, applications, and technology, and work closely with Principal Architects and stakeholders across business and technical domains.
This position offers an exciting opportunity for an architect interested in transformation via EA models. Building strong relationships across business domains and CIO teams is essential.
We support flexible working arrangements. The role typically requires at least two days per week at one of our offices in London, Swindon, Bournemouth, or Northampton, with potential flexibility for applicants from other locations. Details will be discussed during hiring.
