Head Housekeeper required for a luxury hotel and venue with outstanding facilities. Part of a small group of luxury hotels, this highly regarded 95 bedroom hotel has developed an excellent reputation over the years.
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced head housekeeper to oversee this key department within the hotel. Reporting to the hotel manager, this role will focus on driving exceptional standards in all areas of the business including accommodation, public areas and spa.
The role requires strong leadership, motivational and team development skills. The head housekeeper will be accountable for a large team that includes an assistant head housekeeper, a team of supervisors, room attendants, laundry assistants and porters.
The head housekeeper will be required to have excellent attention to detail and a firm understanding of how to effectively manage a busy housekeeping department within a 4/5-star hotel environment. This position will require a strategic approach to managing all aspects of the department, with a commercial and operational focus.
