Vacancy Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional to join the school-age neurodevelopmental (ND) assessment team as a Neurodevelopmental Practitioner. The team delivers high quality assessment for school-age children with suspected neurodevelopmental conditions.
Responsibilities
* Deliver all aspects of neurodevelopment assessment clinics, including parental interview, structured assessment, observations, liaison with other professionals, and contribution to MDT discussions and decision‑making following assessment.
* Write comprehensive assessment reports.
* Liaise with families prior to and throughout their journey through the assessment process.
* Participate in wider aspects of the ND assessment pathway and the broader Children and Young People’s Mental Health service.
* Support CPD training and attend supervision as required.
Location & Availability
The role is primarily office/clinic based at sites across Leeds, with some opportunities for home‑working depending on service need. Full‑time and part‑time posts are available.
