Hays Social Care are looking for Support Workers in Belfast. Your new company Hays Social Care is working with one of Northern Ireland’s leading homeless charities, who help put the most vulnerable people in our society back on their feet. Your new role This is an exciting opportunity to break the cycle of homelessness which some females experience. Support workers will support the service manager and coordinator to ensure the provision of high standards within the service\'s new innovative 10-unit therapeutic housing scheme for women. The women staying on the scheme will have a variety of complex and multiple needs resulting in significant histories of trauma, repetitive periods of homelessness and will struggle to engage with other support services. The unit aims to help women out of homelessness using a therapeutic support model, designed to enable women to gain the skills and confidence needed to take the next steps to living independently. What you will need to succeed. To succeed in this position, you will need to have personal or work experience of providing support for someone, good organisational and record-keeping skills, be an excellent communicator with resilience to adapt.
