I am currently recruiting on behalf of one of the UK's leading facilities maintenance companies who are looking to hire an experienced electrical bias engineering shift supervisor to work on a 4 on 4 off basis (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off)
Within the role you will be required to supervise a team of engineers during your shift (Electrical and Mechanical biased shift and day engineers). Playing a pivotal lead role in maintaining both Electrical and Mechanical infrastructure, you will possess excellent communication skills, take ownership of tasks and be proactive as to set an example to your team.
Ensuring KPIs are met are a key factor. You will be accountable for ensuring all planned maintenance is carried out in line with scheduling, prioritising statutory and mandatory tasks, ensuring prioritisation of reactive duties.
Leading site activities and ensuring your team remain compliant, adhere to SSoW, LOTO and permitting systems. Be required to undertake a competency appointment for both Electrical and Mechanical systems.
You must have experience as a HVAP, be able to safely and competently carry out fixed wire testing and be responsible for all elements of electrical & mechanical installation/ repair work along with carry out all aspects of maintenance as required that is included in the contract,
Requirements:
* City and Guilds/NVQ - Electrical (essential)
* City and Guilds 2391-52 Inspection and Testing
* Previous HVAP qualification & proven HV experience (You will be required to sit a Technical assessment at interview stage)
* IEE 18th Edition Regulations
* ISOH managing safely.
* Clean criminal record
