We’re looking for a Supply Chain Business Executive to join our Operations team in either our Haywards Heath, West Sussex or Salford Quays, Manchester offices on a 12 month fixed term contract.

In this role you’ll work collaboratively with our supply network and operating teams to develop and maintain a market-leading customer claims fulfilment processes and procedures.

What’s involved:

5. You’ll be responsible for utilising numerous data sources to develop deep insights into operational performance, across the balanced scorecard
6. You’ll present and visualise analysis so that it can be clearly understood and adds value to the business
7. You’ll ensure service standards are consistently delivered and maintained from 3rd party suppliers in line with contract and Group policies and Governance
8. You’ll define and agree the effective utilisation of resource in line with service specifications, working with and agreeing resource plans with suppliers and working in conjunction with business objectives and service level agreements.
9. You’ll inform and manage contract change request process to ensure that they are appropriately considered and actioned in accordance with the required governance and business needs.
10. You’ll collaborate with the business to determine appropriate key performance and risk indicators that can be used to effectively manage supplier relationships.
11. You’ll provide SME input to procurement activity where required to enable new or improved services whether via an RFP, contract re-negotiation or global service changes.
12. You’ll be the first line escalation point to resolves discrepancies with suppliers
13. You’ll develop, embed, monitor and report on key SLAs and KPIs and address any areas of non-performance.
14. You’ll chair routine (monthly/quarterly) 3rd party supplier business reviews for both Third Party and Customer suppliers to include focus on performance, commercials, incidents, innovation, risk and action tracking with clear action planning where performance is not being met.
15. You’ll act on internal / 3rd party supplier feedback with regards improvements needed to people, process, IT or data.
16. You’ll champion the customer and 3rd party supplier throughout the business, balancing customer needs with business requirements and presenting a compelling case for internal change and improvement.
17. You’ll analyse performance and risk management MI across suppliers.
18. You’ll develop and maintain positive working relationships at all levels and in all areas of the business and with external outsourced partners.

Experience & Knowledge:

19. Proven experience of using data and insights to drive operational performance
20. Proven experience of working with data to drive performance and deliver benefits
21. Excellent knowledge of motor sales and claims processes, and awareness of the key levers for cost, quality, time and effort
22. A positive and pro-active approach and a willingness to help whilst ensuring key deadlines are achieved
23. Experience of using data and insights to lead performance discussions and formulating recommendations for improvement
24. Understanding of Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
25. Able to develop relationships and work with others to drive desired outcomes
26. The ability to work under pressure, dealing with multiple tasks or requests simultaneously
27. Excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage difficult conversations
28. Team player, working to create and achieve shared objectives.
29. Ability to disseminate technical information and present comprehensively

Skills & Qualifications:

30. Advanced level use of MS Office applications
31. Strong analytical and numerical skills
32. Ability to present and visualise data to a high quality and adapt for wide range of audience
33. Problem solving skills and ability to think creatively to overcome data challenges
34. An understanding of Lean /Continuous Improvement tools, thinking and methodologies
35. Strong Negotiation skills
36. Ability to communicate risks and issues at all levels of the organisation
37. Excellent stakeholder management skills
38. Commercially focused and results driven
39. Understanding of Motor insurance industry
