Corporate Associate (2–4 PQE)

A leading UK legal and professional services group is looking to recruit a Corporate Associate (2–4 PQE) to join its growing Corporate team in Manchester.
This is an excellent opportunity for a transactional lawyer to gain exposure to high-quality corporate work, advising a diverse client base ranging from large corporates and investors to growth businesses and entrepreneurs.
The Role
You will work closely with partners and senior lawyers on a broad range of corporate matters, including:
* Mergers & acquisitions and disposals
* Private equity investments and exits
* Capital markets transactions
* Joint ventures and corporate restructurings
* General corporate advisory matters
You will support on transactions from initial instruction through to completion, assisting with drafting and negotiation of key documentation while developing direct client exposure.
The Team
The national corporate practice comprises over 100 corporate lawyers, advising clients on a wide range of domestic and cross-border transactions.
The Manchester team works collaboratively with colleagues across the firm’s wider platform, delivering a partner-led approach on complex transactions and providing junior lawyers with strong mentorship and development opportunities.
The Candidate
* Qualified solicitor with 2–4 years’ PQE in corporate law
* Experience gained at a regional, national or international law firm
* Exposure to M&A and general corporate transactional work
* Strong drafting and negotiation skills
* Commercially minded with an interest in developing client relationships and business development
