Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and inspire students in the subject of History
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes personal and academic growth
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support as necessary
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop engaging curriculum materials and strategies
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and other stakeholders
* Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and parent-teacher conferences as required
* Keep abreast of educational developments and best practices in the field of History teaching
* Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
* Proven experience teaching History at the primary or secondary level
* Strong knowledge and understanding of the History curriculum and relevant teaching methodologies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
* Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a love for History among students
