Please note this is a regional role supporting specific services in designated areas around the UK. A valid UK Driving Licence is essential, and overnight stays may be required due to locality.
The main responsibility of this role is to support care services in achieving quality-focused outcomes. This includes coaching staff on best care practices, writing and evaluating person-centred care plans, and supporting the management of individual care needs.
About You:
* Senior Care Assistant / Level 3 qualified
* Experience working in a Care Home setting is essential
* A practical, 'hands-on' approach—working on the floor, guiding, coaching, and training staff
* Knowledge of regulatory standards, statutory requirements, and improvement methods in care homes, with the ability to guide and empower staff to implement change
* Experience in conducting checks on care plan completion and staff observation, applying the principle of showing, watching, and providing feedback
Skills Required:
* Supporting and developing care teams
* Strong organisational skills
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Experience building relationships with healthcare professionals and external organisations
* Flexibility to meet the needs of the service and organisation
