A growing business in Basildon is looking for a hands-on Accounts Assistant to join their busy finance team. This fully office-based role covers Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, credit control, and banking – perfect for someone who enjoys variety and taking ownership of their work. What you’ll be doing: Processing supplier invoices and payment runs Raising customer invoices and allocating payments Chasing overdue invoices and resolving queries Handling daily banking and reconciling accounts Maintaining accurate debtor and creditor records Supporting the finance team with admin and queriesWhat we’re looking for: Experience in an all-round accounts role (AP, AR, credit control, banking) Confident using Sage 200 or similar and Excel Organised, detail-focused, and able to meet deadlines Strong communication skills for liaising with suppliers and customersThis is a great opportunity to gain varied finance experience in a supportive, growing business
