The Role:
Becoming a Trainee at CLC offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience and training. You will work alongside experienced colleagues while learning on the job. You will also be expected to attend school or college once a week as part of your training.
Responsibilities:
Working alongside a fully qualified and experienced Fire Stopper, your responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring fire stopping work is delivered professionally, in line with CLC Core Values and Equality standards.
* Learning how to charge fire stopping work with your CLC Mentor, identifying cost reduction methods.
* Ensuring the effective delivery of service in accordance with CLC Health and Safety policies and procedures.
* Recording work and completing administrative tasks as required by CLC standards and timelines.
* Reporting any Health and Safety issues and outstanding defects to your Supervisor, Contracts Manager, Health and Safety team, and Apprentice Co-ordinator.
