For our Italian Restaurant we are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is advantageous, and a passion for food safety and excellent service is essential.
Responsibilities
* Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm.
* Take accurate food and beverage orders from customers.
* Serve meals, drinks, and desserts efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation.
* Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to throughout service.
* Assist with food preparation tasks when necessary to support the kitchen team.
* Handle customer enquiries professionally and resolve any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area before, during, and after service.
* Support baristas with basic barista experience when required, including preparing coffee and other beverages.
Skills
* Proven experience in restaurant service or hospitality roles is preferred.
* Knowledge of catering, serving techniques, and food safety regulations.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment.
* Flexibility to adapt to different roles within the restaurant setting, including food preparation if needed.
* A friendly demeanour with excellent organisational skills.
* Previous barista experience is considered an advantage but is not essential. Pay: £12.21-£14.50 per hour
