In this pivotal technical SME role within Group Services and Security, you'll provide the backbone of our operations, ensuring robust infrastructure and security for both internal and external customers. You'll lead on expanding and optimising existing technologies, integrating toolsets, and driving efficiency across our platforms. Acting as a key point of expertise, you'll take ownership of project-related incidents and play a critical role in safeguarding our services while enabling innovation.

What You'll Do
* Acting as a contact point for business engagement for this bank critical infrastructure.
* Planning the implementation of complexed changes.
* Delivering changes of all sizes for our customers.
* Delivery of infrastructure and service improvement plans, including gateway upgrades and new builds.
* Prioritisation, handling expectations and the ability to guide and influence business decisions.

What You'll Need
* You'll be accountable for managing firewall change across our estate, ideally a networking/firewall SME with experience of scoping and troubleshooting firewall changes on Check Point & Fortinet. Additionally, you'll understand networking, firewalls, security principles and design concepts.
* You'll have experience working to develop long term goals and will act as a key point of contact for resources in the team for their project activity. This may involve identifying, collating, and understanding detailed information on project scope, feasibility, technical accuracy and compliance.
It would be great if you also had
* Whilst not essential to have previously worked in Financial Services, having knowledge of regulated environments
* An understanding of automation tools (Python, Power Automate, Robot Framework, Ansible, Terraform) would be favourable.
