Your new role Your job will be to ensure the accurate and timely settlement of trades. You’ll manage trade matching, resolve settlement issues, and identify risks within a fast-paced financial environment. This position involves daily interaction with clients, custodians and internal stakeholders, as well as investigating trade discrepancies and implementing process improvements to enhance automation. You’ll work to strict deadlines, meet regulatory standards and contribute to delivering exceptional client service. What you'll need to succeed Previous experience in settlements, trade processing, trade monitoring etc. Strong knowledge of systems and trade processing. A background in financial services, wealth management or similar A good understanding of investment operations and financial instruments. Advanced user of Excel spreadsheets (including look-ups; macros would be an advantage). Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads. Strong communication skills to liaise confidently with clients and stakeholders. A proactive, detail-oriented approach and the ability to work under pressure. Ideally, industry qualifications such as CISI Investment Operations Certificate or a relevant degree (or working towards these).
