Job Description
This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable skills within the support team embedded in the Environmental Health service, which is committed to delivering a wide range of regulatory duties throughout the Aberdeenshire area.
Environmental Health is a branch of public health that addresses aspects of the natural and built environment affecting public health, including Food Safety. The team plays a preventative role in maintaining Aberdeenshire as a safe and healthy place to live, work, and visit.
The service provides Food Hygiene training for businesses, voluntary groups, and individuals. You will coordinate training courses, ensuring smooth enrollment and completion processes. The role also involves providing excellent phone support for the department.
The successful candidate must possess good communication, flexibility, and diplomacy skills. The ability to manage and prioritize workload effectively and work to strict deadlines is essential for fulfilling regulatory duties.
This position is based at Unit 7 Harlaw Way, Inverurie.
Interviews are scheduled for Friday, 11th July 2025.
The position is fixed-term, ending no later than 30th June 2027.
