A leading environmental and engineering consultancy is looking for a Monitoring Systems Technician to join its growing London team. As a Monitoring Systems Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and operating noise, vibration, and air quality monitoring systems. The role offers a balanced mix of site-based and office-based work, ideal for someone with a passion for technology, environmental measurement, and problem-solving.

Duties for the role of Monitoring Systems Technician include:
* Preparing, testing, and installing environmental monitoring systems
* Conducting site investigations and diagnosing equipment faults
* Performing remote health checks and data downloads via web platforms
* Processing and assessing environmental monitoring data
* Preparing regular environmental reports for clients and consultants
* Maintaining accurate site records and liaising with equipment suppliers
Skills and experience required for the role of Monitoring Systems Technician:
* GCSEs in Maths, English, and Science (Grade 6 or above)
* Knowledge of environmental monitoring (advantageous but not essential)
* Strong IT and numeracy skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office
* Excellent problem-solving ability and practical mindset
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to work outdoors year-round
* Organised, reliable, and eager to learn new technical skills
