Ever thought about working nights in care? At CrossReach, nights are all about creating a calm, safe space for the people we support. When the world quietens down, you’ll be the steady, caring presence that makes all the difference.
This is a temporary role, providing maternity cover for 9 months. We’re looking for someone with experience of working in a care home setting, who can also step in to cover sickness and holidays when needed.
With an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and registration with the SSSC (or the readiness to apply), you’ll combine a steady, dependable approach with genuine compassion. Most of all, it’s your passion for helping people live with dignity and confidence that will make you stand out.
Responsibilities
* Leading and guiding the night team
* Supporting with personal care, comfort and reassurance
* Handling medication and keeping clear records
* Making sure everyone feels safe, settled and respected

Qualifications and Requirements

* Be a member of the PVG Scheme and undertake required vetting checks
* Registration with SSSC and meet its standards
