The primary purpose is to support all departments by integrating within the departments and processes to act as a support function ensuring products meet customer requirements and supporting with any concerns which may arise both internally and externally.
Responsibilities:
* Integrate within the departments to help identify potential concerns and support in manufacturing quality products.
* Monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), within the processes to identify potential improvements.
* Conduct HSE walkthroughs
* Perform in-process, final visual, and incoming goods inspections
* Record, report, and manage NCRs, escalate unresolved quality concerns to the Line Manager
* Support internal audits and process checks to ensure compliance with standards.
Qualifications, Skills, and Training
Requirements:
* Experience working within a production environment.
* Ability to read engineering drawings.
* Able to work with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel etc.)
* Ability to work responsibly under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
* Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills, timekeeping, and reliability.
* Have a good understanding of management systems (ISO9001/14001)
* Practical inspection and part measurement using workshop tooling (verniers, height gauges, gauges)
* Internal Auditing experience
* Understanding and interpreting engineering tolerancing and standards.

* To be fully conversant with COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations and any controls identified through Risk Assessments.
* To comply with any recommendations made by our Occupational Health Advisers to ensure your health and safety on site.
