Investment Banking Associate responsibilities
* Support the execution of debt advisory mandates for real assets, including financial modelling, debt sizing analysis, and the preparation of high-quality credit papers and investment committee decks.
* Manage transaction workstreams from inception to financial close, coordinating with lenders, legal counsel, and technical advisors to ensure seamless execution.
* Conduct rigorous commercial and financial due diligence on infrastructure and energy assets, identifying key credit risks and structuring appropriate mitigants.
As the successful candidate you will
* Possess significant experience (typically 3-5 years) within debt advisory, project finance, or a leveraged finance team at a reputable bank or boutique.
* Demonstrate advanced financial modelling skills, specifically regarding long-term infrastructure cash flows and complex debt structures.
* Have a strong understanding of the credit markets and experience in drafting detailed information memorandums for lenders.
* Hold a top-tier academic background and ideally a professional qualification such as CFA or ACA.
