Role Description / Responsibilities:
1. SAP Functional Lead:
Manage forum of key users and lead the organization to further evolve the system landscape. Manage larger change projects with the external Service provider, ensure testing and successful implementation.
2. SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Administration:
Oversee the administration and optimal performance of the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud environment, including system configuration, monitoring, and maintenance. Develop, create, and maintain system workflows.
3. Security and Compliance:
Manage security measures within the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud environment, including access control, segregation of duties (SoDs), and adherence to data protection regulations (GDPR).
4. SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Database Management:
Handle database administration tasks within the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud environment to maintain data integrity and high availability. Maintain report templates and develop new reports as required.
5. Troubleshooting and Support:
Provide support for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud-related issues, collaborating with key stakeholders and external service providers to resolve complex problems effectively.
6. SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Upgrades and Life Cycle Management:
Lead regular upgrades, patches, and migration tasks within the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud environment, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations while maintaining close oversight of the SAP release schedule.
7. Integration and Automation:
Facilitate the integration of the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud with other enterprise systems and automate business processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual user intervention. Consider both back-end data structure and front-end accessibility for end-users.
8. Training and Documentation:
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and provide training to key and end-users to ensure proficient use of the system. Communicate regularly with technical, financial, and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security.
9. SAP Licensing and BTP Cloud Credit Usage Management:
Manage SAP User Licenses and optimize BTP Cloud Credit usage to align with budgetary constraints and organizational objectives, ensuring cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Database Administration or Business Administration (or equivalent related field experience)
5+ years related database administration and management experience, ideally SAP. Knowledge and understanding of database concepts, data migration, database performance and tuning, backup and recovery. Knowledge of basic financial processes (e.g., order to cash, procurement to pay) and general business processes. Strong organizational skills, handling multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritizing work requirements. Ability to define, analyze and resolve problems; experience in effectively identifying, researching, troubleshooting/diagnosing and resolving database administration issues. High customer focus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written), with the ability to follow up and presentation skills, tailoring communication method and approach to the needs of the audience (such as management, data staff, vendors, and technical/non-technical staff). Knowledge of SAP S4 Hana is a plus. Some travel may be required.
