Inclusive Design Consultant - UK Wide Our Cities & Places team in UK is currently seeking an experienced Inclusive Design professional to join us in delivering a range of projects, in the UK and around the world. As a successful candidate you will have a strong technical background and evidence of going beyond the minimum, pushing boundaries and challenging the accepted. At Jacobs, the Inclusive Design team follow a technical, engineering and social understanding to create welcoming spaces that promote participation and work seamlessly for everyone. As an Inclusive Design specialist at Jacobs you will: * Drive innovation and change, and push boundaries within the inclusive design landscape. * Go beyond access for disabled people to successfully meet the requirements of diverse, global populations. * Informed by research, data and evidence, deliver future-proofed solutions that serve end-user requirements relating to age, gender, gender identity, disability, faith and cultural background. * NRAC consultant accreditation and proven experience of working in the field of inclusive design. * We'll need you to be an excellent communicator with well-rounded people skills as you will manage diverse teams with different and often competing goals, enabling them to work together to produce coordinated and high-quality designs. * You'll also have excellent client management skills with the ability to present your ideas clearly and effectively, evaluate the ideas of others, and communicate progress, potential issues, and proposed mitigation.
