SEN / SEND Tutor, East Yorkshire for Targeted Provision.
Multiple positions are available; we hire to meet diverse needs. The role involves 1:1 tutoring with children and young people with SEN/SEND, SEMH, and other additional educational needs in East Yorkshire.

The SEN / SEND Tutor role
* Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs
* Roles involve learners referred by local authorities and schools requiring educational and social-emotional support
* Deliver flexible, holistic, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
Tasks and responsibilities
* Plan each tutoring/mentoring session
* Deliver engaging sessions that meet needs and advance educational and social-emotional development
* Complete lesson reports and provide progress feedback
Requirements
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS)
* Minimum 2 years teaching experience
* Experience with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and other Additional Educational Needs
* Safeguarding knowledge and processes
* Enhanced DBS (assistance with cost if needed)
* Two professional references
* Based in the UK with right to work, including for remote/online work
It is essential to work in a way that supports the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people and follow safeguarding policies at all times.
Employment status
* Engagement as a Worker for short-term engagements; contract for service; paid via PAYE
* No guaranteed hours or expenses coverage
* Insurance covers work performed for Targeted Provision
* Not a self-employed tutoring/teaching position
