Sellick Partnership is currently recruiting for a Systems Accountant / Project Manager for a leading professional services firm in Manchester, which has experienced significant growth over the past decade.
The Systems Accountant will lead system development to ensure a robust and value-adding system that enhances data accuracy and supports commercial decision-making. You will oversee ongoing projects across all systems and act as a liaison between finance and IT.
The Role
* Ensure systems operate efficiently and effectively, supporting forecasting and financial reporting.
* Drive continuous improvement of the systems and related reporting.
* Provide training to maximize system utilization.
* Develop enhancements to add value continually.
* Lead the implementation of a new financial system for Dimensions.
* Document, test, and update processes and procedures.
This position is suited for someone with an accounting background and significant experience in delivering continuous improvement projects across finance and reporting systems. Leadership skills to influence senior teams are essential.
Ideally, candidates will come from a similar role within a professional services organization and hold an accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA). However, qualified individuals by experience will also be considered.
