Are you a nursing leader ready to take the lead in delivering outstanding care standards?
We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Head of Care to oversee the nursing team at a specialist service, ensuring excellence in care delivery aligned with CQC and statutory standards.
As a core member of the senior leadership team, you will drive clinical governance, ensure quality assurance, support professional development, and lead on complex neurological and long-term care strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and lead the nursing team to uphold high clinical and professional standards.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory frameworks and champion best practice.
* Provide expert leadership in neurological rehabilitation and complex care.
* Coordinate care delivery with internal multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
* Lead quality improvement efforts and maintain rigorous clinical oversight.
* Oversee training, CPD, supervision, and recruitment of nursing staff.
What We’re Looking For:
âś” NMC-registered Nurse with significant leadership experience
âś” Strong knowledge of clinical governance, infection control, and CQC requirements
âś” Expertise in long-term neurological care and rehabilitation
âś” Proven ability to inspire, lead, and develop nursing teams
âś” Committed to continuous improvement and service excellence
