KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
* Actively promote a positive and collaborative workplace culture that supports the Charity’s purpose of Making Life Better and i-care values to increase morale, productivity, and performance.
* Undertake clerical and reception duties required by the post.
* Perform cash teller functions and financial duties in line with regulations.
* Record and provide statistics regarding income, users, equipment, materials, and resale.
* Ensure satisfactory handling of booking applications and confirmations.
* Demonstrate an understanding of the High Life membership scheme and actively promote it.
* Administer the High Life membership scheme and the MRM system.
* Maintain and improve established administration systems.
* Process orders and raise invoices through financial/procurement systems such as Oracle and Pecos.
* Produce and maintain documents and spreadsheets using Microsoft Office software.
* Provide information to the public regarding activities and timetables in person and by telephone.
* Display and monitor current information about activities and timetables on notices and display boards.
* Carry out banking of facility income and maintain adequate change levels for business.
* Deliver high standards of customer service, adhering to dress code and standards.
* Understand and adhere to health and safety policies and procedures, staying up-to-date.
* Undertake training related to facility procedures as required.
* Administer the lost property procedure.
* Keep reception areas clean and tidy.
* Liaise with Supervisors on daily operations.
* Maintain security of the reception area, ensuring confidentiality and data protection.
* Suggest improvements to increase centre effectiveness and efficiency.
* Pursue professional development and contribute to team and organisational improvements.
* Attend and undertake training online or in person.
* Reduce wastage and promote sustainability in all tasks.
* Support other areas of High Life Highland with projects, training, or cover during absences, working cross-functionally.
